I was diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis 2 years ago & earlier i had dry flakes and itchy scalp. Now, I have oily scalp without dry flakes but white granular nodes attached to hair shaft (white piedra) so considering everything, is my current treatment comprising KTC Shampoo and Topical ointment containing 3% salicylic acid good?

There are several fungal infection that we deal with. The medication you’re using for your additional infection is routine of what we use too. It should help you with Seb derm. You might want to alternate your shampoos using one day another one the next. I use 3 alternating shampoos and it helps. I use polysporin and hydrocortisone cream mixing them and putting a fine layer on my skin. It kills all bacteria infections. I too shampoo everyday .
