Just do not want any reverse reactions. I'm using the prescription 2%. I've used it a total of 3 times this week and will back off to a couple of times now for a couple weeks before going down to one time a week. Any good regular shampoos to use on days I wash and don't use ketoconazole?

I will keep you updated. I hate how they screwed up my highlights a year ago and I'm still dealing with it. Now it seems like they are fading more even though I got permanent color to get rid of the orange red/cooper tint originally. They aren't like that but my hair is naturally a very dark like darkest brown and the highlights are like real light brown almost blond now because the color has faded and the bleach is obviously still there. I don't like it. Makes my hair look lighter. I don't think I want to get an overall color again for it just to fade again and back to square one doesn't really fix the problem and can be more damaging to my already breakage hair.Alos made my hair look darker without the natural dimensions even though you could still see the highlights just times way down. My best option might be to just let it grow out which will take a couple years because my hair is long and just get a half inch to inch every 3-4 mo. Going to decide this weekend but it's about time I get a root touch up anyway and a trim.

Yes but now I'm worried about the red 40 dye in it. There have been reports of browning makes NG the hair lighter reddish lor pink ooking especially on colored hair cause the shampoo is pink.its not in the 1% but I found one online with ketoconazole and doesn't have any sulfate and other things that aren't good so I'm giving it a try. I put it in another post will update when I get it but for now I'm going to lay low on the 2%.

Don’t blame you. Best to do what you know works for your scalp and face. 👏

Yes I usually wash my hair every other day so it's almost 3 times a week. I really think I have more dry scalp than oily, but combination which makes it tricky. So far I've waited at least 2.5 to 3 days in between washes. So I've strictly used 2% ketoconazole, but I know I will have to back down to just 1 time a week in a couple weeks. It's not meant for everyday and to start with it's ok 2-3 times but then I read eventually 1 times every week or every other to prevent your scalp getting too use to it and almost like an immunity to it working that often happens with any dandruff shampoo. I'm just not sure what I'll use for in-between I kind of don't know if Head and Shoulders Bare is the best of I already have ketoconazole. I think it's ok but want what's best for my scalp. I have a ton of shampoos laying around but don't want to irritate it in the process. I will have to think about that.
