Thank you, Lisa! I think I will just go with biotin and collagen supplements. After I started looking at the Weem ingredients the amounts seemed excessive.
I have tried the Weem gummies. I was seeing some new hair growth but I was getting a reaction of a red nose and inflamed pores so I stopped. I even tried half the dose but started getting it again. It has a ton of Biotin in it which I believe was too much for me. If you try be careful because too much Biotin can effect blood tests especially thyroid getting a false negative so it's important to talk to your Dr. and it's suggested to stop them a few days before blood work. For me I'm taking Nature Valley multi vitamin chewies with a lot less Biotin and. collagen which I believe helps and you don't have to worry about an unsafe amount of Biotin nor worry about taking a multi vitamin with a supplement. Although I do take an elderberry supplement with to aid in my immune system.
While there aren't any specific reports about Weem Biotin gummies in the search results, it's important to discuss any supplements with your healthcare provider before trying them for seborrheic dermatitis. Instead of focusing solely on supplements, consider proven treatments and natural approaches for managing scalp Show Full Answer
Agreed, noone needs that amount of Biotin. I've read after the fact that it can be quite dangerous. Let me know how the Biotin and Collagen supplements go for you. You should start seeing a difference within a month. It's not going to be anything earth shattering but I could see a difference around my hairline.
I have tried prescription shampoo (Ketoconazole 2%) Fluocinonide topical, Fluocinolone Acetonide 0.01% oil, many OTC shampoos over the last three years. Nothing has consistently worked for me. I'll be seeing my dermatologist at the end of May and am hoping she will prescribe a new treatment plan.
