The first answer is what I would go with.

With proper shampoos, medication, and regimen.
I don't think it ever goes away permanently. You just have to get it under control.
If I scratch my head too much, it will start burning. If it burns too much, I wash my hair and let it air dry. It always feels better after I wash it.
