It sounds really frustrating when flare-ups just won't quit, especially in such visible areas. When topical treatments like ketoconazole aren't keeping things under control, a doctor may consider oral (pill) antifungal medications.

It sounds really frustrating when flare-ups just won't quit, especially in such visible areas. When topical treatments like ketoconazole aren't keeping things under control, a doctor may consider oral (pill) antifungal medications.

Options that are sometimes prescribed include:

- Fluconazole
- Itraconazole
- Terbinafine

These are typically taken for one to several weeks, depending on what your doctor recommends for your specific situation. Since your seb derm is persistent and spreading across sensitive facial areas, it's really important to see a dermatologist rather than trying to manage this alone. They can assess the severity and may also consider other prescription options like:

- Topical corticosteroids (such as alclometasone for facial areas)
- Calcineurin inhibitors like tacrolimus or pimecrolimus
- PDE4 inhibitors like roflumilast (Zoryve)

Please don't wait too long to get checked out — persistent, worsening symptoms around the eyes especially need professional attention. 💙
