Focusing on staying calm, eliminating triggers (food, beverages) and choosing to embrace a "can do" attitude helps tremendously. As an 80 year old I, too, have learned that I have to live this life today and, yes, it's different from the life I had prior. We can learn to move into a new realm of living uur best life by being present and refusing (I had to learn this for myself) to "grieve" over things gone by. You're moving in the right direction! π»
