🧑🏻‍⚕️Some medications work better than others but those that do work do tend to stay around..... I think just like any OTC or prescription med., it's gonna be different going off of it if it's a permanent resident. How long have U been on the thyroid meds. Janice? 🙂

1. Call your Rx number to your pharmacy, they will ask your doctor for permission to refill. 2. Go to your pharmacy and ask for a week’s worth, they will give you a weeks worth. I too have thyroid issues. A few days will not hurt but after a week is not good.

Question: Could missing thyroid medication be causing a severe seborrheic dermatitis flare-up with excessive scaling around the nose, eyes, face and scalp?

Seborrheic dermatitis commonly affects the face, particularly around the nose and eyes, causing flaky patches and yellow or white scales. The condition can vary in severity and appearance of flares. While seborrheic dermatitis symptoms can include:
- Flaking or itchy skin
- White scales around eyes and nose
- Yellow, greasy scales or crusts
- Inflammation and redness
- Thick skin patches on face

It's important to contact your healthcare provider about this severe flare-up, especially since you've missed thyroid medication. They can properly evaluate if there's any connection between your thyroid condition and this unusually severe flare of seborrheic dermatitis.

Check with your doctor if you can take Benadryl cold/allergy, it will help your nose and eyes. I too have a runny nose due to allergies.
