While there's no specific evidence that a gluten-free diet alone improves seborrheic dermatitis symptoms, some people find success with dietary changes through careful tracking and elimination of potential trigger foods.

The most effective approach is to keep a detailed food diary and work with your healthcare provider to identify if certain foods might be triggering your symptoms. Some MySebDermTeam members have reported improvements by eliminating specific foods from their diet, though results vary significantly from person to person. If you're interested in trying dietary changes, it's important to work with a healthcare provider or registered dietitian before starting any elimination diet. They can help ensure you're still getting proper nutrition while testing how different foods affect your symptoms. Remember that what works for one person may not work for another, so patience and careful monitoring of your symptoms are key.
