I have a bright yellow powdery substance coming from my scalp, and skin gets all over my clothes, not just my shoulders. The dermatologist says it is not psoriasis. I don't have any atypical rashes or patches on any other part of my body. This is absolutely bizarre!

Hi! I, to have the black specks! From what I gather from researching this travesty condition, the black specks are dirt and dried sebum. I wash my hair at least 2 to 3 times a week, but due to excessively dry scalp, I can't wash my hair daily. The brown/black specks can also be scabs. Yuck! This stuff is not only miserable, but a massive pain!
I have black, or white specks I pick off my skin. What are the black specks. White could be dandruff.. what are the black specks?
