Hi Fay, welcome to the SebDerm social website. Glad you joined. We have so much information for you to search out. And, our kind members are very willing to supply their personal experiences when you ask a question. Your question regarding itching and flaking and emotions is a good one. What I have come to understand, is that stress and anxiety do play a role in our flare-ups. There is information on this site that addresses stress and SebDerm that you might want to check out. Personally, I have noticed that my anxiety does play a role in my scalp SebDerm. My doctor prescribed a medication for my anxiety/stress that makes a difference for me. Have you consulted a dermatologist? I would suggest that if you haven't, it would be a good idea. Most likely, the doctor would recommend some scalp products that could help you. I have learned that rotating 3 shampoos is better than using only one. Using 3 makes each one more effective. This has worked for me. Feel free to continue asking questions. Good luck and feel better!☘️
