Hi. I haven’t been on in awhile. I just started using Neutrogena T Sal shampoo and like it. I have been on Ketaconazole 2 % for some time now and felt my scalp was dry and itchy from it at times. The salicylic avid shampoo has been great and has alleviated the dry feeling and itch for the most part so far. So far my second washing. Also purchased Vanicream shampoo and conditioner. Used conditioner, it’s gentle non irritating but need extra product after for my wavy curly hair. Going to try shampoo. Other brands I’m looking at are Necessaire and Seen. Oh the struggle, I feel you.

May I ask if you color your hair? And if you do I’m assuming the salicylic acid shampoo doesn’t discolor/strip your color. Does it help with oiliness of your scalp? All the natural remedies I’ve read about like apple cider vinegar/shampoo etc. say they are color safe. But most of them fo. Always good to hear from someone who has actually tried these remedies.

These are the OTC shampoos I currently use besides the prescription ketoconazole 2%
1. T/Sal by Neutrogena
2. T/Gel extra strength by Neutrogena
3. Healthy Scalp sooth & calm by Neutrogena
4. Nizoral Psoriasis
And I rotate them. Keeps the itch to a minimum. Still get a few flakes but not real bad.

Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo, pretty much all of the tea tree line. But they do have a color safe line. I have tried the apple vinegar shampoo in the natural product section and it was fine on my color. The brand is wow. I'm sure you probably already know this but I thought I'd say anyway. Anytime you have hot shower at the very end rinse with cold water. Last part of blowdrying do it on cool. It closes the cuticle and helps retain the color longer. I say it's like your outer part of your hair are like shingles sticking out, cold shuts them🥰
