I was in middle school when I started to noticed flakes, and I was so scared. I thought it was lice! 😂😂😂
The official name was such a mouthful, I was embarrassed to tell people what I had. I did not believe I had it. I preferred to believe that. At the time, it was on my face in the form of red cheeks. The Dr told me to put Cortisone cream on it, which I did. Talk about denial!🥵
Man it's like I've stumbled on a winning lottery ticket lol I'm always so embarrassed to go out to dinner with my lady or even just to go out in public (especially in black😒) thanks to the snowcapped mountain that is my scalp lol ty guys
No way, scabies??? You’d think they’d at least just say it’s dandruff. I have had the best help with Clobetasol from my derm.
I was told I had scabies too, that made me mad. No doctor helped I have had to help myself and even diagnosed sebderm on my own I did have a biopsy that proved it. Still no help with any treatment that worked.
It’s funny you say that cause I was first misdiagnosed with scabies. They gave me two doses of Permethrin (to use head to two). I swear that made my condition worse by further irritating my scalp. I actually went to the ER and the doc gave me saline IV, checked blood level, said I didn’t have scabies, and sent me home. Obviously super frustrated. My first derm made the diagnosis, didn’t really give an explanation or answers to my questions, and wouldn’t communicate for several months. Most of my knowledge has been from online investigating.
