Janice, you may have a terrible inside yeast infection. You really need antibiotics and a fungal treatment. I can see you blowing out scales, but coughing up might be a problem with a hidden infection. AI didn’t have an answer, but if it were me, I’d be calling your regular doctor and telling them what you’re coughing up. Keep us posted.

Hi JaniceH.... never heard of it, sounds a bit like strep though. Ask Your Doctor for a throat culture.

Janice please type in on your search bar, sinusitis, Seb derm, conjunctivitis Research will agree we also suffer from a lot of allergies, etc. it talks about the vitamin additives such as copper, Vitamin d and k, it’s worth the read.

I too, have terrible allergies. You might think of getting an allergist to do testing on you. It really helped me knowing I had a lot of allergies and tests confirmed it.

This sounds like a serious medical concern that requires immediate medical attention. While seborrheic dermatitis can cause yellowish scales on the skin's surface, it does not cause scales to appear in mucus or be coughed up. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition that affects the outer layer of skin, particularly in areas with oil glands.

Please seek emergency medical care right away to determine the cause of these symptoms, as they are not typical of seborrheic dermatitis. A healthcare provider needs to evaluate these symptoms in person. To address your second question - no, seborrheic dermatitis is not fatal. It is a chronic but manageable skin condition. While it can be uncomfortable and may come and go throughout your life, it does not cause life-threatening complications. However, the symptoms you're describing need to be evaluated by a medical professional as soon as possible.
